We want to do the same thing with Discovery Groups, using the simple method of Discovery Bible Study (DBS).ĭBS might be different than Bible Study approaches you’ve been a part of or heard about before. Take your time and read one passage at a time, being sure to work through the discovery questions.When people in Jesus’ day listened to his teachings and obeyed them (put them into practice), they found out that God and his love and power were real.

Share this story (the story, not your conclusions) with your spouse, your kids, your co-workers. Think about questions like: How should I think of God differently? Does God want me to do something specific? Think about questions like: What are our tendencies? What are our characteristics? What are we like when we are not following God vs. Think about questions like: What did I learn about his character?
